BILLING AND ACCOUNTING

 

Cash or Credit Card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover) is the standard accepted and agreed upon payment method. A Credit Card must be provided when placing reservation.

 

A 20% gratuity will be added to the base fare, wait time and any additional stops will be itemized on the customers billing statement where applicable.

 

NYS Sales tax will be applied to fares on trips originating, remaining and concluding in New York State. This tax is computed by using the tax rate for the jurisdiction where the service commenced.

 

Any additional charges will be itemized on the customer's billing statement when applicable such as round trip tolls, parking, early morning surcharges and holiday surcharges.

 

All rates are calculated in the local currency and billed in U.S. dollars at the prevailing exchange rate.

 

Due to fluctuation in currency exchange rates, all US dollar equivalents of international rates may vary.

 

   

 

RATE ESTIMATE

 

A rate estimate is the rate presented to you prior to your trip. This estimate is an initial estimate of the cost of service as reserved. Wait time, extra stops or additional services may change the final price.

 

 

 

GARAGE TO GARAGE

 

Garage-to-Garage charges are calculated by applying our applicable hourly rate beginning from the time the chauffeur departs the garage to begin service and continues through such time the chauffeur concludes service and returns to the garage. There is a minimum of thirty (30) minutes travel time each way for the reserved vehicle.

 

 

 

WAIT TIME 

 

For all point-to-point reservations, a fifteen-minute (15) grace period is given before wait time charges begin. After 15 minutes, wait time charges are accrued in quarter hour increments, based on the vehicle's hourly rate. Devine Chauffeur Solutions is able to monitor all commercial flights, therefore a Forty Five minute (45) grace period is allowed on all domestic arrivals and sixty (60) minutes on all international arrivals. After the grace period, calculated from the confirmed landing time, wait time charges are accrued in fifteen minute (15) increments, based on the vehicle's hourly rate. For pick-ups at an FBO, there is a (15) fifteen minute grace period before wait time charges apply. After (15) fifteen minutes, wait time will be charged at $15.00 per fifteen (15) minute increments once the grace period has elapsed.  

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL STOPS

 

Passenger requested stops en-route during a point-to-point reservation will be charged at $10.00 or $20.00 depending upon the distance traveled. For all passenger requested stops off route during a point-to-point reservation, charges will revert to the prevailing BlackTie Transportation NY vehicle hourly rate. 

 

 

 

EARLY MORNING SURCHARGE

 

Trips that are scheduled for pickup between 12:00am and 5:59am will incur an additional $15.00 flat fee for the driver.

 

 

 

HOLIDAY SURCHARGES

 

A $25.00 holiday surcharge will be charged for all trips occurring on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve after 5 pm, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve after 5 pm and New Year's Day. This additional surcharge is given to the Chauffeur.

 

 

 

SPECIAL EVENTS AND GROUP TRAVEL (VANS, MINIBUSES AND MOTOR COACHES)

 

Devine Chauffeur Solutions bills all vans, minibuses and motor coaches at the associated hourly rate. Special event and group travel vehicles are billed from garage-to-garage. 
 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Sedans 
A cancellation fee equal to the total trip cost including STC and 20% gratuity will be charged for any cancellation that is made less than two (2) hours before the scheduled pick up time. All out of state pick-ups require four (4) hours notice. A 'no show' fee equal to the base fare plus 20% gratuity, STC surcharge and any applicable wait time fee will be charged when the passenger fails to arrive at the designated location. If you cannot locate your Chauffeur please call 917.399.3805  To avoid being billed as a no-show, please do not leave your location without communicating with our company.  Devine Chauffeur Solutions is not responsible for passengers flights that are missed or any other incident that results in failure to comply with the required cancellation policy.

 

SUV's and Vans
SUV's and vans must be canceled three (3) hours prior to scheduled pickup time. Cancellation of these vehicles with less than three (3) hours notice will be charged the full point- to-point rate or the vehicle hourly minimum (3) hours, whichever is less.

 

Motor Coaches 
Motor Coaches must be canceled more than seventy-two (72) hours prior to scheduled pickup time. Cancellation of motor coaches with less than 72 hours notice will be charged the vehicle hourly minimum which is five (5) hours.

 

Minibuses 
Minibuses must be canceled more than seventy-two (72) hours prior to scheduled pickup time. Cancellation of minibuses with less than 72 hours notice will be charged the vehicle hourly minimum which is five (5) hours.

 

 

 

OTHER

Devine Chauffeur Solutions shall not be liable for circumstances beyond its control including but not limited to weather, road conditions and breakdowns.

 

Devine Chauffeur Solutions assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged baggage, personal belongings, or any items left in the vehicle. Customers will be subject to any shipping or delivery fees associated with returning the items.

 

Devine Chauffeur Solutions does provide child safety seats upon availability. Parents and guardians traveling in our vehicles are responsible for installing child safety seats in accordance with state and federal laws. If you wish to provide your own car seat, we would be more than happy to store it for you at no additional fee.
